Hotel Cervino, Cervinia

Hotel Cervino is a luxurious 5* property in a stunning location. Set just at the edge of Cervinia village, the peace and silence, from which to enjoy the mountain views, including the majestic Matterhorn, is excellent.

The hotel has minibus shuttles that are available on demand, to pick you up from the ground floor ski room - no icy steps to negotiate in ski boots - at the front of the hotel, and drop you at the gondola, just a couple of minutes away. When you're ready to end your ski day, just call the hotel and the shuttle will collect you from the village pick-up point. If winter sports aren't your thing, or if you also enjoy golf, the 18-hole golf course at the foot of the Matterhorn, is an experience not to miss.

Born 2 Ski's Senior Ski Specialist, Anne, was fortunate to enjoy a few days here in near perfect conditions, in December 2024. The hotel is beautiful, with excellent service befitting it's 5* rating. The food and wine is - whenever possible - locally sourced, and the chefs pride themselves on creating and presenting wonderful dishes. If you've never tried the wines of the Aosta Valley, you're in for a treat!

All of the staff are helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the hotel, services, food, and the area, plus the hotel Manager, Daniel, is a Cervinia local, having lived there all of his life and so can answer just about any question you may have.The pool and spa area is beautiful, with views across the valley and towards the Matterhorn, which are truly breathtaking.

Breuil-Cervinia is a modern tourist centre, located at the foot of Monte Cervino.

The possibilities for practising sports are countless in every season of the year: from classic mountaineering to winter sports, to disciplines such as golf and trekking.

It's ski area is one of the largest in the Alps, connected to the slopes of Valtournenche on the Cervinia side, and the Swiss slopes of Zermatt, where, on the glacier, it is even possible to ski in the summer.
