This is a small, chalet-style gem of a hotel on the outskirts of Sauze d'Oulx. Its location could not be better for keen skiers and snowboarders - with the Jouvenceaux Sportinia lift just 120m away. The more confident, red-run skier or boarder can even ski back down to the lift when the snow conditions are right. The intimate bar and snug lounge with their open fire creates a lovely, typically Italian laid-back atmosphere. Sauze's varied nightlife is about 1km up the hill, and ski buses run every 30 minutes or so from a stop just a short walk away. There's also a hotel shuttle bus that runs regularly to the resort centre between 5 pm and 10 pm daily. Alternatively, the small village of Jouvenceaux has a few restaurants and bars only a few minutes away.
