Val d'Isere
The chalet has doorstep skiing, click on your skis in the morning and follow the gentle slope from the chalet down to the ski lifts. At the end of the day, you can ski back to the chalet via the red Olympique slope, which is best suited for intermediate to advanced skiers and boarders. There is a free ski shuttle service which stops close by to the property until 8 pm, allowing you to easily access the mountain and return to the chalet. A true skier's paradise, this snow-sure resort is connected to Tignes and creates one of the most diverse ski areas with 300 km of slopes. From absolute beginners to expert skiers, it has so much to offer for every ability.
The chalet is approximately 700 metres or seven minutes' walk to the centre of Val d'Isère, where you can find a range of shops, bars and restaurants. Apart from the fantastic skiing, Val d'Isere also has plenty to keep you occupied even when you are not on the mountain - spend the afternoon at The Aquasportif which has a spa, swimming pool and sports courts or head to the legendary après at La Folie Douce
Chalet hosts - Your chalet hosts will be available to assist you with all parts of your holiday and will strive to make your stay as relaxing as possible. So that all you have to do is get up and go skiing, enjoy some comfort food that is prepared at home to fuel your ski days.
Leisure facilities - After a day on the slopes, sit back and relax in the sauna to give yourself a well deserved rest.
Comfortable and cosy - As the chalet retains its traditional farmhouse style with high beamed ceilings, the lounge area is the perfect place to retreat to with a coffee or glass of wine after dinner.

The interior design of the Chalet La Rocheure is of a high quality throughout; it blends traditional features with contemporary touches to create a look that is both stylish and comfortable. The living and dining area of the chalet is spacious and open-concept, featuring high ceilings and huge windows which lead onto a balcony overlooking Val d'Isère and the Solaise Mountain.
You'll enjoy the benefits of a catered ski chalet in Val d'Isere by staying at Chalet La Rocheure. Your chalet hosts are there to ensure that your time spent skiing is enjoyable and relaxing. Six days a week you will be provided with a cooked breakfast and a four course evening meal with unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks, the hosts will also prepare tasty afternoon tea treats for when you return back from skiing. On staff day off the hosts will leave a continental breakfast out and you are free to spend the evening however you'd like in resort.

Family Facilities
Children 11 years and under are welcome in the chalet on any date where one group books the entire chalet for their exclusive use. Otherwise children are allowed on peak dates only. For Winter 2024/25 these dates are:
- 14, 21 and 28 Dec
- 15 and 22 Feb
- 29 March, 5 and 12 April
Food and Drink
Our catered chalets mean there is no need to worry about a shopping trip whilst on holiday, as you will be looked after by the operator's resort/chalet staff, from arrival right to departure.
Breakfast
A continental buffet breakfast is available on 7 mornings of your holiday. There’ll be a selection of cereals, bread and pastries from a local bakery, jams and spreads, local cheeses and charcuterie, yogurts and fresh fruits. We have Nespresso coffee machines in each chalet, along with teas, infusions, hot chocolates and fruit juices.
For 6 mornings of your holiday there’s a classic full cooked breakfast available, starting from 8 am. Your hosts will take an order from you and get it prepared ahead of your big day on the slopes. Options include free range eggs, sausages, bacon, halloumi, mushrooms and tomatoes.
Afternoon Tea
A fresh cake will be baked and ready for your return from the slopes, 6 days of the week. Perfect to pair with the selection of teas, hot chocolate and Nespresso coffee, that’re in your chalet for you whenever you fancy.
Evening Meal
A 4-course set menu will be cooked and served by your chalet hosts on 6 evenings of your holiday. You’ll start your evening with an Aperitif and nibbles, where we have a choice of 2 Italian Proseccos from the Veneto region, one of which is a 0% alcohol option, beer and soft drinks.
The evening set menu has been designed to incorporate a variety of different cuisines, including classic French, Asian, Italian and British dishes. One evening the menu will be a delicious regional dish, from the area you are staying in.
After each homemade dessert there’s a selection of cheeses with fresh bread, crackers and chutney, along with coffee, tea or infusions.
There will be special celebration menus on Christmas Day & New Year's Eve.
Wine and Drinks
During your evening meal guests can indulge in our carefully selected complimentary local wines, which consists of a choice of 3 red, 3 white and 1 rosé. All of the wines have been carefully chosen so that there is a great variety and offer something to cater for all tastes and that pairs well with the menu.
For those guests that don’t drink wine, there is a selection of beer (both with and without alcohol), sparkling mineral water and soft drinks.

Breakfast hot option, afternoon tea & dinner is 6 days per week due to chalet staff's day off. Our representatives are there to recommend and book a local restaurant in resort for the free evening. .
Chalet staff day off is usually a Wednesday, but for Christmas and New Year week this will be a Thursday.
