About the resort

Many come to Val d'Isère and divide their time between skiing, après and shopping. Its legendary nightlife is both abundant and lively with over 60 bars, restaurants and nightclubs to choose from.

The Val d'Isère - Tignes ski area claims to be one of the best ski areas in the world, and we agree. It offers an enormous variety of cruising runs and some far-reaching off-piste too. Head for ‘La Langue du Glacier' on Grande Motte above Tignes. It's wonderfully scenic without being difficult to ski or board. With two glaciers in the area, you’re guaranteed snow and most of Val d’Isère‘s lifts are long and rapid meaning you spend more time skiing rather than queuing.

Your daily afternoon tea of freshly baked cakes and biscuits will be waiting for you when you come in from the slopes. Your seven evening meals consist of three courses with regionally inspired dishes all followed by fresh coffee. You can buy wine and drinks to accompany your meal from the bar.
