Hotel & Spa Le Savoie

Born 2 Ski is delighted to introduce Chalet Hotel Le Savoie, a very special addition to the Chalet Hotel collection, perfectly located right on the main street in Val d’Isère.

New for Winter 2025/26 and exclusive to this operator, welcome to the Hotel & Spa Le Savoie, a stylish alpine retreat in the heart of Val d’Isère. Perfectly positioned on the main street, you’re just steps away from long ski days, scenic lunches, boutique shopping and post-ski apéritifs. Naturally, you’ll get the exceptional service you know and love. The team is on hand to make your stay feel effortless – warm welcomes, plenty of insider tips, and every little detail taken care of.

Just a short and easy walk from the hotel, you'll find the Solaise Express and Olympique gondola, your gateway to the impressive Val d’Isère – Tignes ski area. Glide up on the Solaise Express to reach the scenic Solaise and Le Fornet slopes. Or hop on the Olympique gondola, which takes you across to Tignes and drops you near the iconic La Folie Douce, home of high-altitude après-ski.

Step inside the hotel and find Alpine style, elegant, understated, and beautifully done. Local stone, rich wood, and thoughtful design create a warm, inviting atmosphere throughout. With just 31 rooms across 6 floors, there’s a sense of space and calm. The lower floors are where you can unwind fireside in the lounges, enjoy a glass of wine from the extensive wine menu in the intimate bar, or linger over a leisurely dinner in the spacious restaurant. The wellness area is the cherry on top - complete with indoor pool, sauna, steam room and hot tub - the perfect après-ski ritual.

At Hotel & Spa Le Savoie, every detail is designed to elevate your mountain escape. It is sophisticated, serene, and effortlessly comfortable.

FREE ski guiding and coaching sessions

Get more from the mountain with the operator's exclusive Mountain Expert service, available only to their guests. Throughout the week, you’ll have the chance to join free daily sessions led by a professional instructor who knows Val d’Isère like the back of their glove.

Think of it as the ultimate insider’s guide. Coaching sessions are designed around your ability, whether cruising blues or confident on reds. You'll get at least 2 sessions guaranteed during your stay, with everything explained by your resort hosts when you arrive.

It’s a brilliant way to explore the slopes, boost your technique, and pick up top tips - all in great company and included in your holiday.

Families and Children

The hotel provides cots and highchairs to make travelling with little ones easier. There’s also a playroom where kids can play or wind down after a day in the snow.

As a guest of the Hotel & Spa Le Savoie, you can access the kids' clubs at the sister hotel next door, Hotel Ducs de Savoie.

The childcare and creches take care of kids from 4 months to 12 years old, and offer kids who ski, a ski school drop-off and pick-up service. There's also evening care 3 times per week and a 24-hour baby room.  You can book the spaces in the club when booking your holiday. Spaces are limited and subject to availability.

Dining at Le Savoie

At Le Savoie, dining is more than just fuel for the slopes; it’s part of the experience. Expert chefs craft elegant, French-inspired menus as impressive as the mountain views. From leisurely breakfasts to indulgent dinners, you’ll eat well.

Mornings begin with a generous spread of cooked and continental favourites, perfect for setting you up for a big day on the snow. Then there’s afternoon tea, an absolute guest favourite and daily highlight. After a day on the slopes, you’ll return to the irresistible aroma of freshly baked cakes and biscuits, still warm from the oven.

Each evening, settle in for a 3-course meal, showcasing the best regional Alpine cuisine, all rounded off with freshly brewed coffee. And if you fancy a glass of wine - or something with a bit of fizz - you can choose from the thoughtfully curated wine lists available at the bar.
