Named after the mountain peak high above Tignes, the Aiguille Percée brings together classic alpine style and modern touches, in a handy spot in Tignes Le Lac – just 5 minutes’ walk from the lift, ski school meeting point and nursery slopes. Some parts of the hotel are traditional through and through – like the mix of wood cladding and stone on the outside and in the bar and lounge.

This chalet-style hotel has a prime spot right in the heart of the resort. Step outside and it’s only a short stroll to Val d’Isère’s shops, restaurants and lively bars. And when it’s time to head to the slopes, just nip down to the boot room to collect your ski and boots, toasty warm thanks to the heated boot racks, and walk 5 minutes to the main Solaise gondola. Inside, the cosy bar and lounge is a great place to relax after a day on the slopes.

The Waldhof hits the mark when it comes to facilities. First up is a relaxing wellness area, where you can swim, soak in a hot tub or stretch out in a sauna. Next, you've got two separate play areas for the kids. For the tots, there's one with a ball pit and climbing tower, while older ones and teens have a room with computer consoles. And sticking with the games theme, there's also another room with classics like table football and pool.
