And when it’s time to head to the slopes, just nip down to the boot room to collect your ski and boots, toasty warm thanks to the heated boot racks, and walk 5 minutes to the main Solaise gondola. Inside, the cosy bar and lounge is a great place to relax after a day on the slopes.

The hotel sits at the heart of the resort, where you’re just around the corner from the shops, bars and restaurants, not to mention less than a 5-minute stroll from the Solaise and Bellevarde gondolas. So, after a day on the slopes, you can quickly find yourself relaxing in the sauna or unwinding with a soothing massage.

The hotel is in one of St Anton’s prime spots here. It’s less than 10 minutes’ walk to both main gondolas, then when you’re done for the day, you’ve got all the après action in the centre nearby too. It might look traditional on the outside, but inside the Banyan is modern from top to toe. Creams, reds and blacks give each room a smart look, with chunky wooden beams to keep those alpine vibes alive. It doesn't skimp on the cosy touches either – like in the bar and lounge, where you can drop on a comfy chair in front of the fire and spend the evening sipping a local tipple or two.
